Warm up with a day of competitive fun!
Saturday, 21 June 2025 we're holding our Winter Tournament.
The tournament will take place at the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre (MSAC) badminton hall.
For our 2025 Winter Tournament, we are following our teams tournament format.
We will have 10 teams of 10 players, each with their own allocated colour and captain (to be confirmed soon!). All players will be evenly assigned amongst the teams, taking into account skill level based on player grades in Birdie Buddy.
Once the teams are formed, each captain will delegate the pairs and work with their team to make their theme colour sparkle on the day!
The goal of each team is to accumulate the most points - so every point counts!
The 3 teams with the most points will be awarded Gold, Silver, and Bronze.
Lunch will also be provided on the day, so please list dietary requirements when purchasing your ticket!
Note: This event is a Smashers member only tournament.
An award ceremony will be taking place after the tournament, with venue to be confirmed very soon! We will be awarding our place-getters with their awards, as well as other prizes and giveaways, including for the best dressed team!
